WASHINGTON, DC – Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project, released the following statement regarding the 2020 election:
“The election is not over and the results are not complete until every lawful vote is counted. Many legitimate ballots remain to be tallied, particularly in the decisive states of Pennsylvania and Michigan. Voters have as much right to expect these ballots to be counted as do those who voted in person on election day. Americans are frustrated that election night did not bring its customary finality, but we owe it to voters to ensure that the final tally of 2020 votes is accurate and complete.”
