Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project

“Gov. Hogan’s election plan ensures that voters will have reliable options to vote this November, and preserves commonsense voting protections. People will be able to request absentee ballots or choose to vote safely and easily in person. Maryland and other states have already seen first-hand that rushing a vote-by-mail system risks disenfranchising voters and creates fresh opportunities for fraud. Avoiding a repeat of these problems in November is the reasonable and responsible choice that voters deserve, and other states should follow Maryland’s example.”
