Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project:

“Today, the Supreme Court will hear oral argument in Moore v. Harper. The left labels this case a ‘fringe’ theory because they do not want to admit this is really about the plain meaning of the Constitution. The Constitution’s text is clear: Lawmakers, not courts, write the laws that govern elections. But the left routinely uses rogue courts to rewrite election laws for their own gain. If the Supreme Court rules in favor of North Carolina lawmakers, that entire strategy, spearheaded by Marc Elias, is in peril. Honest Elections Project believes that all Americans have the right to vote in elections governed by democratically enacted laws, and that courts should not act like super-legislatures. The only thing this case threatens is the left’s litigation operation, and the profits of lawyers who are paid hefty sums to overturn democratically enacted laws for political gain.”
